Il Dom (detto anche Dom del Mischabel) è la montagna più alta del Massiccio del Mischabel nelle Alpi Pennine. Con i suoi 4 545 m è la terza montagna e la settima vetta della catena alpina dopo due vette del massiccio del Monte Bianco e quattro del Monte Rosa.

Difficoltà tecniche basse: tranne il canalino per accedere al Festijoch si tratta essenzialmente di una camminata su neve. Indispensabile un'ottima forma fisica e condizioni meteo buone: con brutto tempo anche la sola salita o discesa dal rifugio può rivelarsi pericolosa per la ferratina dell'ultimo tratto.

GIORNO 2 : Salita dal rifugio Domhütte in vetta, D+1600, discesa a Randa D- 3100

The Dom (also called Mischabel Dom) is the highest mountain in the Mischabel massif in the Pennine Alps. At 4,545 m, it is the third highest mountain and the seventh highest peak[1] in the Alpine chain after two peaks in the Mont Blanc massif and four in the Monte Rosa massif.

Low technical difficulty: except for the gully to access the Festijoch, it is essentially a walk on snow. Excellent physical fitness and good weather conditions are essential: in bad weather even the ascent or descent from the refuge can be dangerous due to the via ferrata of the last stretch.

DAY 2: Ascent from the Domhütte refuge to the summit, D+1600, descent to Randa D- 3100
